Panoramio.com, recently bought by Google is a great site for uploading pictures and geotagging them so they appear in google earth. Unfortunately Telefonica have apparently changed (or not checked) their normal dns servers in the past few days which has resulted in anyone on Telefonica adsl in Spain not being able to currently access panoramio.com or any of their million or so photos in google earth.

If you are wondering what to do, change your dns settings to a free & open dns:

Another great night - it gets ridiculous to say this but it was - after the politics of monday night (for another time) it was nice to get back to music

Though we have to admit we personally weren’t enamoured by their first single, the New Young Pony Club turned it around and we ended up converted. Another reason to judge a band by their live show and not by the radio.

Having watched the soundcheck earlier today of mark ronsons band we have to admit we thought it would be a funk out a la p-funk, prince, jam session (and thats no bad thing) - but it wasn’t - it was a great night of a bunch of musicians who seemed to really enjoy themsleves - and the audience went for it… highlights a plenty - (being a bit of a rocker, ‘california’ was for me the stand out) - it was pure enjoyment - after hearing the crowd last week sing to kasabian it was great to hear them do the same tonight

how anyone on this island can use politics to stand in the way of great live music is beyond us:

What can you say - we know its getting repetitive but it was another great night. We’re in a blessedly lucky position to see bands in such a small venue and such a great atmosphere. We wish you were here - even the mayor of San Antonio came down to have a gander…

Tomorrow (today) we’re going to try an experiment, so watch this space….

The lovely Lena had her opening exhibition at Atzaro tonight. Its difficult to describe what Atzaro is like, but just think of the most gorgeous setting you can imagine and its pretty much that. After that we went down to the opening of Baachus Restaurant in Santa Gertrudis.. where it seemed most of the Norths glitterati turned up to… But then if you have a completely open bar… It’s going to be one to watch though…

Today we took a wander down to Privilege to see how Manumission set up for their weekly friday night extravaganza. We met a great bunch of guys who work extremely hard throughout the day. Full article will be in next months magazine and on the site but in the meantime here’s some pictures from today.
