We’ve done the Ibiza sunsets, sunrises and now “moonrises”…

We were talking to a friend who works at Mango’s Beach bar and he was saying that at full moon time, in the evening you get a great view of the moon coming out of the sea. So since the euro 2008 was on and he reckoned the moon would rise around full time we duly decided to combine both. As it turned out the moon started to appear at 11.45pm and was blood red:

The horizontal light on the horizon was a ship going past

And the iphone plug: us checking the footy reports on bbc.co.uk using their free wifi..

We’ve now launched podcast ibiza using the new google earth maps api:

and have obviously also integrated it into www.iphoneibiza.com:

Today we got down to the task of putting ibiza club tickets on our iphoneibiza.com website.

After mucho help from my old mate kosso we went live about an hour ago - there’s some tweaking to be done, but we’re happy with it so far.

eg. you can buy ibiza rocks hotel opening tickets.

We could hardly just have iphone friendly numbers on our iphoneibiza.com website so we’re adding them to all the numbers on the main website.

We’ve set up a free wifi hotspot here in ibiza for our local bar below our apartment - so we can work from there. We had a wander around Santa Eulalia with our iphone looking for wifi hotspots - we found loads. As a test we’re sitting in the bar on our iphone adding in a wifi hotspot direct into the iphoneibiza database and then doing a blog about it while having a beer in the sun - it can’t get better than that…

It is with great pleasure we can launch www.iphoneibiza.com

This revolutionary phone is perfect for us. When we found out you can embed telephone numbers onto a regular webpage and that the iphone uses the safari web browser and incorporates wifi - we had to do something with it.

So we’ve taken our ideas with google maps and the A-Z principle and married them together for an iphone specific website. So far we have put up listings of all the hotels and restaurants in Ibiza - you can browse the site on an iphone and everytime you see this icon: - you simply press it and the iphone will dial it automatically…

We’re also adding all the free wifi hotspots around the island - so you can go and have a coffee or a beer, browse the site on your iphone for free and work out what’s on that night, book a restaurant - or even buy the club ticket for that night….

Once we’ve figured out how to take a decent picture of our iphone we’ll put it up…
