We’re sat in our local bar on our wifi setup and one of the team was moaning about our 3mb line speed. So we’ve got the laptop out, put it on the bar, connected to telefonica and upgraded our line to 10mb for a paltry extra of 5 euros a month in the space of 5 minutes… As we speak the iphone has got the email from telefonica confirming the upgrade.

Panoramio.com, recently bought by Google is a great site for uploading pictures and geotagging them so they appear in google earth. Unfortunately Telefonica have apparently changed (or not checked) their normal dns servers in the past few days which has resulted in anyone on Telefonica adsl in Spain not being able to currently access panoramio.com or any of their million or so photos in google earth.

If you are wondering what to do, change your dns settings to a free & open dns:
