They introduced the Punic language to the island along with their religion, rites and gods, among whom we find Astarte. It is thought that the cathedral of Ibiza town was probably erected over the remains of an ancient temple devoted to Astarte. You may know her better by her other name - Tanit.

However - back to the hotel of your dreams. The transformation of what was a centuries old finca into the stylish yet intimate ten room hotel was only completed in 2009, so everything is in tip top condition.
