27 days of dance, hurly-burly and tradition
While other villages honour their Patron Saint for just a few days, Santa Eulària offers a full month of celebrations and events. Parades, concerts - from classical music to Hip Hop - exhibitions and competitions provide plenty of variety and deep insights into the life of this island town.
In this still very quiet island Santa Eulalia sees to it that there is entertainment through the whole month of February. The village starts its programme to celebrate its Patron Saint's day on February 2nd, although strictly speaking the 'day' is actually on 12th February.
This year the new convention centre behind the marina will clearly enhance the offerings. The centre is playing host to lots of entertainment, from multimedia spectacles to storytellers.
For many visitors it will be one of the few opportunities to experience this state of the art events palace up close. Highlights of the fiesta weeks are the actual Patron Saint's Day on the 12th, with further celebrations over the weekend of the 14th and 15th and a slew of activities, a country faire on the 21st and, naturally, the carnival parade on the 24th, which falls during the festivities this year.
We recommend combining your visit to the fiestas with a tour through the sun drenched and verdant hinterlands of the municipality.
Driving by the blooming fields and perhaps a stop at one of the little country restaurants will make the day a very special island experience, with even a little extra holiday flair on this lovely island. It's a great opportunity to take a trip into nature to enjoy Ibiza to the fullest.
