July is all about sun and dancing - so how about both at the same time? Platja d'en Bossa is once again chic!! Between BORA BORA, which opens in the early afternoon and invites you to come dance, and the high-class COCO BEACH, there are a slew of new beach clubs that have opened their doors this summer, and not one of them caters to the typical Platja d'en Bossa clientele. Most of them are up at the higher end of life. The party scene appears to have turned its eye once again to living and having a good time enjoying themselves under the sun. For many this is a logical and predictable reaction to the ban on afterhours parties and the crackdown on private finca parties.

Right next to the loud and booming BORA BORA the DELANO BEACH CLUB has opened its doors. It is not the place you would expect a cool and relaxed beach atmosphere. Along with breakfast (until midafternoon) the kitchen offers a varied menu at attractive prices. The price-performance ratio is perfect.

Along with healthy fruit smoothies and other homemade blended goodies they also serve up an incredible Bloody Mary. The Beach Club is easy to spot with its decor predominantly white. Unusually, the beach loungers can also be used free-of-charge. If you get there at the right time you have a chance to get one of the large loungers on the beach. Get there early enough and you may even get one of the raised loungers!

The DELANO BEACH CLUB is open daily from 11am to 4am, which means we can expect some hot nights from this newbie. Nothing has yet been announced, but anything is possible with resident DJs that include Justin Field (Underground) and Graham Sahara (Pacha's Funky Room).

If you love techno, then you shouldn't miss every Thursday in PRIVILEGE, where the MONZA club gets its electronic groove on. For their fifth anniversary they are presenting the newest from the world of electronica, both house and techno. Their line up is more avant-garde than ever before.

MONZA is once again putting the pedal to the metal and presenting never before seen live acts of contemporary house and techno. Troy Pierce, M.A.N.D.Y., Luciano, Steve Bug, Paco Osuna, Marco Carola, Tobi Neumann, Mathew Johnson and Audion live are just a few of the names. It also includes newcomers like Valentino Kanzyani, Luna City Express and Masomenos LIVE - and the DJ duo from Romania Livio & Roby, as well as local stars like Bruno Monteverde, Nima Gorji, Hofer66 and Jose de Divina. All of them contribute to our "local underground culture" that MONZA practically oozes. Happening every Thursday in PRIVILEGE.

LA TROYA is back in AMNESIA. Every Wednesday starting at midnight the fanciest party series of the summer gets going - with more than 60 dancers, animators, artists, very special characters as well as countless self-promoters that all make this night a real spectacle. The exuberant masquerade and the creations of the decorators transform the techno temple into a colourful circus tent. Show is everything, and with LA TROYA you really are offered everything.

The resident DJs Cesar De Melero and Franco Mulero, along with guest DJs like Tommy Vee, Mauro Ferrucci and Gianluca de Tiberiis will keep the music level up, up, up over the whole season.

In times of crisis people develop fresh ideas in order to accommodate their guests a bit. BAMBUDDHA GROVE on the road to Sant Joan, for example, is fishing for guests with a 25% resident discount. The only thing you have to do is, during the day, show your Residencia at the office and get yourself a discount card. BAMBUDDHA GROVE is a unique location - even when comparing worldwide. The atmosphere is calm and warm. Open daily from 8pm to 3am.

Chill is the name of the game every Saturday in KUMHARAS in Port des Torrent. MALTE's SONIK GARDEN begins about one and a half hours before sunset, which you can also thoroughly enjoy from KUMHARAS. The establishment is located right by the water and with its rustic watchtower and offbeat architecture has plenty of atmosphere.

The restaurant area entices visitors with special decoration in the form of a larger than life Shiva and a dragon seat. You can still find the real spirit of Ibiza here. This is a great alternative to touristy Sant Antoni with Cafe del Mar and the other locations. KUMHARAS is an oasis in the middle of the hectic summer hustle and bustle.

The evenings are accentuated by a variety of options, including artists, live music with Raul, Flamenco Querencia and Peter of DEEP DIVE CORPORATION, not to mention guest DJs like Ganga, Pathaan and Mixmaster Morris. The light and laser dance performance and fire jugglers round out the programme after sunset. KUMHARAS is open every day from 6pm until late into the night.

The popular OCEAN DRIVE hotel in Marina Botafoch, which has established itself as one of the favourite places to stay for DJs, recently renovated their rooms to the Deluxe category. Everything was completely newly outfitted with the most modern technology, high-class interior and exclusive materials. Staying open all year round and with breakfast until 4pm were just the first of many innovations that have helped set this hotel apart from the rest. For this summer they've signed a contract with the GUARANA BEACH CLUB in Ses Salines that will forge new paths in beach club quality for both establishments. OCEAN DRIVE is planning its own car service, events, apres beach parties and other events on the beach of Ses Salines to create even more highlights for the season.
