Sadly, the library in Sant Antoni is poorly stocked and has little more than poor cousin status in the library community: we searched in vain to find any titles in a foreign language. The only items to be found are a couple of books in French - €They were donated to us a while back,€ the head librarian tells us - that sit on the shelves in a location in need of modernisation.
Even the collection of Spanish language volumes is pretty measly for a community with 20,000 inhabitants. Still, newspapers hot off the press are laid out daily and the magazine selection includes a number of issues of €National Geographic€.
The library stocks neither DVDs nor video cassettes.
However, there is a computer available that can be used to surf the net free of charge and if you have a laptop you can log in to the internet via a Wifi hotspot.
